I have again carefully experimented with the L'q. Potassaj, giving it in full doses (Vide Expts. XVI and XVII), and unhesitatingly affirm that it possesses no power whatever over the physiological effects of cobra-poison. The temporary apparently beneficial results in Expt. XVII were due doubtlessly to the alcohol which had been administered with the Liq. Potassaa. In the communication above alluded to Dr Shortt observes :
